述選民過去背逆的罪
106:1
你們要讚美耶和華！要稱謝耶和華，因他本為善；他的慈愛永遠長存！ [NASB] Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
106:2
誰能傳說耶和華的大能？誰能表明他一切的美德？ [NASB] Who can speak of the mighty deeds of the LORD, Or can show forth all His praise?
106:3
凡遵守公平﹔常行公義的，這人便為有福！ [NASB] How blessed are those who keep justice, Who practice righteousness at all times!
106:4
耶和華啊，你用恩惠待你的百姓；求你也用這恩惠記念我，開你的救恩眷顧我， [NASB] Remember me, O LORD, in {Your} favor toward Your people; Visit me with Your salvation,
106:5
使我見你選民的福，樂你國民的樂，與你的產業一同誇耀。 [NASB] That I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, That I may glory with Your inheritance.
106:6
我們與我們的祖宗一同犯罪；我們作了孽，行了惡。 [NASB] We have sinned like our fathers, We have committed iniquity, we have behaved wickedly.
106:7
我們的祖宗在埃及不明白你的奇事，不記念你豐盛的慈愛，反倒在紅海行了悖逆。 [NASB] Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; They did not remember Your abundant kindnesses, But rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.
106:8
然而，他因自己的名拯救他們，為要彰顯他的大能， [NASB] Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of His name, That He might make His power known.
106:9
並且斥責紅海，海便乾了；他帶領他們經過深處，如同經過曠野。 [NASB] Thus He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up, And He led them through the deeps, as through the wilderness.
106:10
他拯救他們脫離恨他們人的手，從仇敵手中救贖他們。 [NASB] So He saved them from the hand of the one who hated {them,} And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
106:11
水淹沒他們的敵人，沒有一個存留。 [NASB] The waters covered their adversaries; Not one of them was left.
106:12
那時，他們才信了他的話，歌唱讚美他。 [NASB] Then they believed His words; They sang His praise.
106:13
等不多時，他們就忘了他的作為，不仰望他的指教， [NASB] They quickly forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel,
106:14
反倒在曠野大起慾心，在荒地試探神。 [NASB] But craved intensely in the wilderness, And tempted God in the desert.
106:15
他將他們所求的賜給他們，卻使他們的心靈軟弱。 [NASB] So He gave them their request, But sent a wasting disease among them.
106:16
他們又在營中嫉妒摩西和耶和華的聖者亞倫。 [NASB] When they became envious of Moses in the camp, And of Aaron, the holy one of the LORD,
106:17
地裂開，吞下大坍，掩蓋亞比蘭一黨的人。 [NASB] The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, And engulfed the company of Abiram.
106:18
有火在他們的黨中發起；有火焰燒燬了惡人。 [NASB] And a fire blazed up in their company; The flame consumed the wicked.
106:19
他們在何烈山造了牛犢，叩拜鑄成的像。 [NASB] They made a calf in Horeb And worshiped a molten image.
106:20
如此將他們榮耀的主換為喫草之牛的像， [NASB] Thus they exchanged their glory For the image of an ox that eats grass.
106:21
忘了神他們的救主；他曾在埃及行大事， [NASB] They forgot God their Savior, Who had done great things in Egypt,
106:22
在含地行奇事，在紅海行可畏的事。 [NASB] Wonders in the land of Ham {And} awesome things by the Red Sea.
106:23
所以，他說要滅絕他們；若非有他所揀選的摩西站在當中（原文是破口），使他的忿怒轉消，恐怕他就滅絕他們。 [NASB] Therefore He said that He would destroy them, Had not Moses His chosen one stood in the breach before Him, To turn away His wrath from destroying {them.}
106:24
他們又藐視那美地，不信他的話， [NASB] Then they despised the pleasant land; They did not believe in His word,
106:25
在自己帳棚內發怨言，不聽耶和華的聲音。 [NASB] But grumbled in their tents; They did not listen to the voice of the LORD.
106:26
所以，他對他們起誓：必叫他們倒在曠野， [NASB] Therefore He swore to them That He would cast them down in the wilderness,
106:27
叫他們的後裔倒在列國之中，分散在各地。 [NASB] And that He would cast their seed among the nations And scatter them in the lands.
106:28
他們又與巴力毗珥連合，且喫了祭死神（或作：人）的物。 [NASB] They joined themselves also to Baal-peor, And ate sacrifices offered to the dead.
106:29
他們這樣行，惹耶和華發怒，便有瘟疫流行在他們中間。 [NASB] Thus they provoked {Him} to anger with their deeds, And the plague broke out among them.
106:30
那時，非尼哈站起，刑罰惡人，瘟疫這才止息。 [NASB] Then Phinehas stood up and interposed, And so the plague was stayed.
106:31
那就算為他的義，世世代代，直到永遠。 [NASB] And it was reckoned to him for righteousness, To all generations forever.
106:32
他們在米利巴水又叫耶和華發怒，甚至摩西也受了虧損， [NASB] They also provoked {Him} to wrath at the waters of Meribah, So that it went hard with Moses on their account;
106:33
是因他們惹動他的靈，摩西（原文是他）用嘴說了急躁的話。 [NASB] Because they were rebellious against His Spirit, He spoke rashly with his lips.
106:34
他們不照耶和華所吩咐的滅絕外邦人， [NASB] They did not destroy the peoples, As the LORD commanded them,
106:35
反與他們混雜相合，學習他們的行為， [NASB] But they mingled with the nations And learned their practices,
106:36
事奉他們的偶像，這就成了自己的網羅， [NASB] And served their idols, Which became a snare to them.
106:37
把自己的兒女祭祀鬼魔， [NASB] They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons,
106:38
流無辜人的血，就是自己兒女的血，把他們祭祀迦南的偶像，那地就被血污穢了。 [NASB] And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and their daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with the blood.
106:39
這樣，他們被自己所做的污穢了，在行為上犯了邪淫。 [NASB] Thus they became unclean in their practices, And played the harlot in their deeds.
神怒責其選民
106:40
所以，耶和華的怒氣向他的百姓發作，憎惡他的產業， [NASB] Therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against His people And He abhorred His inheritance.
106:41
將他們交在外邦人的手裏；恨他們的人就轄制他們。 [NASB] Then He gave them into the hand of the nations, And those who hated them ruled over them.
106:42
他們的仇敵也欺壓他們，他們就伏在敵人手下。 [NASB] Their enemies also oppressed them, And they were subdued under their power.
106:43
他屢次搭救他們，他們卻設謀背逆，因自己的罪孽降為卑下。 [NASB] Many times He would deliver them; They, however, were rebellious in their counsel, And {so} sank down in their iniquity.
106:44
然而，他聽見他們哀告的時候，就眷顧他們的急難， [NASB] Nevertheless He looked upon their distress When He heard their cry;
106:45
為他們記念他的約，照他豐盛的慈愛後悔。 [NASB] And He remembered His covenant for their sake, And relented according to the greatness of His lovingkindness.
106:46
他也使他們在凡擄掠他們的人面前蒙憐恤。 [NASB] He also made them {objects} of compassion In the presence of all their captors.
106:47
耶和華我們的神啊，求你拯救我們，從外邦中招聚我們，我們好稱讚你的聖名，以讚美你為誇勝。 [NASB] Save us, O LORD our God, And gather us from among the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name And glory in Your praise.
106:48
耶和華以色列的神是應當稱頌的，從亙古直到永遠。願眾民都說：阿們！你們要讚美耶和華！ [NASB] Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. And let all the people say, "Amen." Praise the LORD!
