129:1
（上行之詩。）以色列當說：從我幼年以來，敵人屢次苦害我， [NASB] "Many times they have persecuted me from my youth up," Let Israel now say,
129:2
從我幼年以來，敵人屢次苦害我，卻沒有勝了我。 [NASB] "Many times they have persecuted me from my youth up; Yet they have not prevailed against me.
129:3
如同扶犁的在我背上扶犁而耕，耕的犁溝甚長。 [NASB] "The plowers plowed upon my back; They lengthened their furrows."
129:4
耶和華是公義的；他砍斷了惡人的繩索。 [NASB] The LORD is righteous; He has cut in two the cords of the wicked.
129:5
願恨惡錫安的都蒙羞退後！ [NASB] May all who hate Zion Be put to shame and turned backward;
129:6
願他們像房頂上的草，未長成而枯乾， [NASB] Let them be like grass upon the housetops, Which withers before it grows up;
129:7
收割的不彀一把，捆禾的也不滿懷。 [NASB] With which the reaper does not fill his hand, Or the binder of sheaves his bosom;
129:8
過路的也不說：願耶和華所賜的福歸與你們！我們奉耶和華的名給你們祝福！ [NASB] Nor do those who pass by say, "The blessing of the LORD be upon you; We bless you in the name of the LORD."
