88:1
（可拉後裔的詩歌，就是以斯拉人希幔的訓誨詩，交與伶長。調用麻哈拉利暗俄。）耶和華拯救我的神啊，我晝夜在你面前呼籲。 [NASB] O LORD, the God of my salvation, I have cried out by day and in the night before You.
88:2
願我的禱告達到你面前；求你側耳聽我的呼求！ [NASB] Let my prayer come before You; Incline Your ear to my cry!
88:3
因為我心裏滿了患難；我的性命臨近陰間。 [NASB] For my soul has had enough troubles, And my life has drawn near to Sheol.
88:4
我算和下坑的人同列，如同無力（或作：沒有幫助）的人一樣。 [NASB] I am reckoned among those who go down to the pit; I have become like a man without strength,

我被丟在死人中，好像被殺的人躺在墳墓裏。他們是你不再記念的，與你隔絕了。 [NASB] Forsaken among the dead, Like the slain who lie in the grave, Whom You remember no more, And they are cut off from Your hand.

你把我放在極深的坑裏，在黑暗地方，在深處。 [NASB] You have put me in the lowest pit, In dark places, in the depths.

你的忿怒重壓我身；你用一切的波浪困住我。（細拉） [NASB] Your wrath has rested upon me, And You have afflicted me with all Your waves. Selah.

你把我所認識的隔在遠處，使我為他們所憎惡；我被拘困，不得出來。 [NASB] You have removed my acquaintances far from me; You have made me an object of loathing to them; I am shut up and cannot go out.
88:9
我的眼睛因困苦而乾癟。耶和華啊，我天天求告你，向你舉手。 [NASB] My eye has wasted away because of affliction; I have called upon You every day, O LORD; I have spread out my hands to You.

你豈要行奇事給死人看麼？難道陰魂還能起來稱讚你麼？（細拉） [NASB] Will You perform wonders for the dead? Will the departed spirits rise {and} praise You? Selah.
88:11
豈能在墳墓裏述說你的慈愛麼？豈能在滅亡中述說你的信實麼？ [NASB] Will Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in Abaddon?
88:12
你的奇事豈能在幽暗裏被知道麼？你的公義豈能在忘記之地被知道麼？ [NASB] Will Your wonders be made known in the darkness? And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
88:13
耶和華啊，我呼求你；我早晨的禱告要達到你面前。 [NASB] But I, O LORD, have cried out to You for help, And in the morning my prayer comes before You.
88:14
耶和華啊，你為何丟棄我？為何掩面不顧我？ [NASB] O LORD, why do You reject my soul? {Why} do You hide Your face from me?

我自幼受苦，幾乎死亡；我受你的驚恐，甚至慌張。 [NASB] I was afflicted and about to die from my youth on; I suffer Your terrors; I am overcome.
88:16
你的烈怒漫過我身；你的驚嚇把我剪除。 [NASB] Your burning anger has passed over me; Your terrors have destroyed me.

這些終日如水環繞我，一齊都來圍困我。 [NASB] They have surrounded me like water all day long; They have encompassed me altogether.

你把我的良朋密友隔在遠處，使我所認識的人進入黑暗裏。 [NASB] You have removed lover and friend far from me; My acquaintances are {in} darkness.
