[NASB] Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul!
146:2
[NASB] I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
146:3
[NASB] Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.
146:4
[NASB] His spirit departs, he returns to the earth; In that very day his thoughts perish.
146:5
[NASB] How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the LORD his God,

[NASB] Who made heaven and earth, The sea and all that is in them; Who keeps faith forever;
146:7
[NASB] Who executes justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free.
146:8
[NASB] The LORD opens {the eyes of} the blind; The LORD raises up those who are bowed down; The LORD loves the righteous;
146:9
[NASB] The LORD protects the strangers; He supports the fatherless and the widow, But He thwarts the way of the wicked.
146:10
[NASB] The LORD will reign forever, Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!

[NASB] Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant {and} praise is becoming.

[NASB] The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel.

[NASB] He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them.

[NASB] Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.

[NASB] The LORD supports the afflicted; He brings down the wicked to the ground.

[NASB] Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; Sing praises to our God on the lyre,
147:8
[NASB] Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who provides rain for the earth, Who makes grass to grow on the mountains.
147:9
[NASB] He gives to the beast its food, {And} to the young ravens which cry.
147:10
[NASB] He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He does not take pleasure in the legs of a man.
147:11
[NASB] The LORD favors those who fear Him, Those who wait for His lovingkindness.
147:12
[NASB] Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!
147:13
[NASB] For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you.
147:14
[NASB] He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.
147:15
[NASB] He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly.
147:16
[NASB] He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes.
147:17
[NASB] He casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold?
147:18
[NASB] He sends forth His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.

[NASB] He declares His words to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel.

[NASB] He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Praise the LORD!

[NASB] Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created.

[NASB] He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which will not pass away.

[NASB] Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and winged fowl;

[NASB] Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth;

[NASB] Both young men and virgins; Old men and children.

[NASB] Let them praise the name of the LORD, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above earth and heaven.
148:14
[NASB] And He has lifted up a horn for His people, Praise for all His godly ones; {Even} for the sons of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the LORD!

[NASB] Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, {And} His praise in the congregation of the godly ones.

[NASB] Let Israel be glad in his Maker; Let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King.

[NASB] Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre.

[NASB] For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation.

[NASB] Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds.

[NASB] {Let} the high praises of God {be} in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,

[NASB] To execute vengeance on the nations And punishment on the peoples,
149:8
[NASB] To bind their kings with chains And their nobles with fetters of iron,
149:9
[NASB] To execute on them the judgment written; This is an honor for all His godly ones. Praise the LORD!
