| 20:3 | [NASB] and he threw him into the abyss, and shut {it} and sealed {it} over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time. |

And I {saw} the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. |
| 20:5 | [NASB] The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. |
| 20:6 | [NASB] Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. |

| 21:9 | [NASB] Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, "Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." |

| 21:21 | [NASB] And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. |
| 21:22 | [NASB] I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. |
| 21:23 | [NASB] And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp {is} the Lamb. |
| 21:24 | [NASB] The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. |
| 21:25 | [NASB] In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; |
| 21:26 | [NASB] and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; |
| 21:27 | [NASB] and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. |
| 22:1 | [NASB] Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, |
| 22:2 | [NASB] in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve {kinds of} fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. |
| 22:3 | [NASB] There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; |
| 22:4 | [NASB] they will see His face, and His name {will be} on their foreheads. |
| 22:5 | [NASB] And there will no longer be {any} night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever. |

| 22:6 | [NASB] And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true"; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place. |
| 22:7 | [NASB] "And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book." |
| 22:8 | [NASB] I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. |
| 22:9 | [NASB] But he *said to me, "Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God." |
| 22:10 | [NASB] And he *said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. |
| 22:11 | [NASB] "Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy." |
| 22:12 | [NASB] "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward {is} with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. |
| 22:13 | [NASB] "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." |
| 22:14 | [NASB] Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. |
| 22:15 | [NASB] Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying. |
| 22:16 | [NASB] "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star." |
| 22:17 | [NASB] The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. |
| 22:18 | [NASB] I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; |
| 22:19 | [NASB] and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book. |
| 22:20 | [NASB] He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. |
