愛的真諦
13:1
我若能說萬人的方言，並天使的話語，卻沒有愛，我就成了鳴的鑼，響的鈸一般。 [NASB] If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
13:2
我若有先知講道之能，也明白各樣的奧秘，各樣的知識，而且有全備的信，叫我能彀移山，卻沒有愛，我就算不得甚麼。 [NASB] If I have {the gift of} prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
13:3
我若將所有的賙濟窮人，又捨己身叫人焚燒，卻沒有愛，仍然與我無益。 [NASB] And if I give all my possessions to feed {the poor,} and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.
13:4
愛是恆久忍耐，又有恩慈；愛是不嫉妒；愛是不自誇，不張狂， [NASB] Love is patient, love is kind {and} is not jealous; love does not brag {and} is not arrogant,
13:5
不做害羞的事，不求自己的益處，不輕易發怒，不計算人的惡， [NASB] does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong {suffered,}
13:6
不喜歡不義，只喜歡真理； [NASB] does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
13:7
凡事包容，凡事相信，凡事盼望，凡事忍耐。 [NASB] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
13:8
愛是永不止息。先知講道之能終必歸於無有；說方言之能終必停止；知識也終必歸於無有。 [NASB] Love never fails; but if {there are gifts of} prophecy, they will be done away; if {there are} tongues, they will cease; if {there is} knowledge, it will be done away.
13:9
我們現在所知道的有限，先知所講的也有限， [NASB] For we know in part and we prophesy in part;
13:10
等那完全的來到，這有限的必歸於無有了。 [NASB] but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away.
13:11
我作孩子的時候，話語像孩子，心思像孩子，意念像孩子，既成了人，就把孩子的事丟棄了。 [NASB] When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.
13:12
我們如今彷彿對著鏡子觀看，模糊不清（原文是如同猜謎）；到那時就要面對面了。我如今所知道的有限，到那時就全知道，如同主知道我一樣。 [NASB] For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.
13:13
如今常存的有信，有望，有愛這三樣，其中最大的是愛。 [NASB] But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.
