| 論講道與說方言的恩賜 |
| 14:1 | 你們要追求愛，也要切慕屬靈的恩賜，其中更要羡慕的，是作先知講道（原文作：是說預言；下同）
[NASB] Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual {gifts,} but especially that you may prophesy. |
| 14:2 | 那說方言的，原不是對人說，乃是對神說，因為沒有人聽出來。然而，他在心靈裏卻是講說各樣的奧秘。
[NASB] For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in {his} spirit he speaks mysteries. |
| 14:3 | 但作先知講道的，是對人說，要造就、安慰、勸勉人。
[NASB] But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation. |
| 14:4 | 說方言的，是造就自己；作先知講道的，乃是造就教會。
[NASB] One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself; but one who prophesies edifies the church. |
| 14:5 | 我願意你們都說方言，更願意你們作先知講道；因為說方言的，若不翻出來，使教會被造就，那作先知講道的，就比他強了。
[NASB] Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues, but {even} more that you would prophesy; and greater is one who prophesies than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may receive edifying. |
| 14:6 | 弟兄們，我到你們那裏去，若只說方言，不用啟示，或知識，或預言，或教訓，給你們講解，我與你們有甚麼益處呢？
[NASB] But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking in tongues, what will I profit you unless I speak to you either by way of revelation or of knowledge or of prophecy or of teaching? |
| 14:7 | 就是那有聲無氣的物，或簫，或琴，若發出來的聲音沒有分別，怎能知道所吹所彈的是甚麼呢？
[NASB] Yet {even} lifeless things, either flute or harp, in producing a sound, if they do not produce a distinction in the tones, how will it be known what is played on the flute or on the harp? |
| 14:8 | 若吹無定的號聲，誰能預備打杖呢？
[NASB] For if the bugle produces an indistinct sound, who will prepare himself for battle? |
| 14:9 | 你們也是如此。舌頭若不說容易明白的話，怎能知道所說的是甚麼呢？這就是向空說話了。
[NASB] So also you, unless you utter by the tongue speech that is clear, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air. |
| 14:10 | 世上的聲音，或者甚多，卻沒有一樣是無意思的。
[NASB] There are, perhaps, a great many kinds of languages in the world, and no {kind} is without meaning. |
| 14:11 | 我若不明白那聲音的意思，這說話的人必以我為化外之人，我也以他為化外之人。
[NASB] If then I do not know the meaning of the language, I will be to the one who speaks a barbarian, and the one who speaks will be a barbarian to me. |
| 14:12 | 你們也是如此，既是切慕屬靈的恩賜，就當求多得造就教會的恩賜。
[NASB] So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual {gifts,} seek to abound for the edification of the church. |
| 14:13 | 所以那說方言的，就當求著能翻出來。
[NASB] Therefore let one who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret. |
| 14:14 | 我若用方言禱告，是我的靈禱告，但我的悟性沒有果效。
[NASB] For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. |
| 14:15 | 這卻怎麼樣呢？我要用靈禱告，也要用悟性禱告；我要用靈歌唱，也要用悟性歌唱。
[NASB] What is {the outcome} then? I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also. |
| 14:16 | 不然，你用靈祝謝，那在座不通方言的人，既然不明白你的話，怎能在你感謝的時候說「阿們」呢？
[NASB] Otherwise if you bless in the spirit {only,} how will the one who fills the place of the ungifted say the "Amen" at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you are saying? |
| 14:17 | 你感謝的固然是好，無奈不能造就別人。
[NASB] For you are giving thanks well enough, but the other person is not edified. |
| 14:18 | 我感謝神，我說方言比你們眾人還多。
[NASB] I thank God, I speak in tongues more than you all; |
| 14:19 | 但在教會中，寧可用悟性說五句教導人的話，強如說萬句方言。
[NASB] however, in the church I desire to speak five words with my mind so that I may instruct others also, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue. |
| 14:20 | 弟兄們，在心志上不要作小孩子。然而，在惡事上要作嬰孩，在心志上總要作大人。
[NASB] Brethren, do not be children in your thinking; yet in evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature. |
| 14:21 | 律法上記著：主說：我要用外邦人的舌頭和外邦人的嘴唇向這百姓說話；雖然如此，他們還是不聽從我。
[NASB] In the Law it is written, "BY MEN OF STRANGE TONGUES AND BY THE LIPS OF STRANGERS I WILL SPEAK TO THIS PEOPLE, AND EVEN SO THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO ME," says the Lord. |
| 14:22 | 這樣看來，說方言不是為信的人作證據，乃是為不信的人；作先知講道不是為不信的人作證據，乃是為信的人。
[NASB] So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophecy {is for a sign,} not to unbelievers but to those who believe. |
| 14:23 | 所以，全教會聚在一處的時候，若都說方言，偶然有不通方言的，或是不信的人進來，豈不說你們癲狂了麼？
[NASB] Therefore if the whole church assembles together and all speak in tongues, and ungifted men or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are mad? |
| 14:24 | 若都作先知講道，偶然有不信的，或是不通方言的人進來，就被眾人勸醒，被眾人審明，
[NASB] But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all; |
| 14:25 | 他心裏的隱情顯露出來，就必將臉伏地，敬拜神，說：「神真是在你們中間了。」
[NASB] the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you. |
| 凡事都要按次序行 |
| 14:26 | 弟兄們，這卻怎麼樣呢？你們聚會的時候，各人或有詩歌，或有教訓，或有啟示，或有方言，或有翻出來的話，凡事都當造就人。
[NASB] What is {the outcome} then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. |
| 14:27 | 若有說方言的，只好兩個人，至多三個人，且要輪流著說，也要一個人翻出來。
[NASB] If anyone speaks in a tongue, {it should be} by two or at the most three, and {each} in turn, and one must interpret; |
| 14:28 | 若沒有人翻，就當在會中閉口，只對自己和神說就是了。
[NASB] but if there is no interpreter, he must keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God. |
| 14:29 | 至於作先知講道的，只好兩個人或是三個人，其餘的就當慎思明辨。
[NASB] Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment. |
| 14:30 | 若旁邊坐著的得了啟示，那先說話的就當閉口不言。
[NASB] But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, the first one must keep silent. |
| 14:31 | 因為你們都可以一個一個地作先知講道，叫眾人學道理，叫眾人得勸勉。
[NASB] For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted; |
| 14:32 | 先知的靈原是順服先知的；
[NASB] and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets; |
| 14:33 | 因為神不是叫混亂，乃是叫人安靜。
[NASB] for God is not {a God} of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. |
| 14:34 | 婦女在會中要閉口不言，像在聖徒的眾教會一樣，因為不准他們說話。他們總要順服，正如律法所說的。
[NASB] The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. |
| 14:35 | 他們若要學甚麼，可以在家裏問自己的丈夫，因為婦女在會中說話原是可恥的。
[NASB] If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. |
| 14:36 | 神的道理豈是從你們出來麼？豈是單臨到你們麼？
[NASB] Was it from you that the word of God {first} went forth? Or has it come to you only? |
| 14:37 | 若有人以為自己是先知，或是屬靈的，就該知道，我所寫給你們的是主的命令。
[NASB] If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord's commandment. |
| 14:38 | 若有不知道的，就由他不知道吧！
[NASB] But if anyone does not recognize {this,} he is not recognized. |
| 14:39 | 所以弟兄們，你們要切慕作先知講道，也不要禁止說方言。
[NASB] Therefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues. |
| 14:40 | 凡事都要規規矩矩地按著次序行。
[NASB] But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner. |
