Jon Tester, a wheat and lentil farmer, won the right to be on the US Senate this week. He’s now a United States Senator.

 

Tester, who has never lived anywhere but his family farm, is from Big Sandy Montana. His grandparents set up farm there and his family has lived there ever since. People in Big Sandy hope that Tester can help resolve some of the town’s problems. Others are not so sure. They think that nothing can help the town now. Many people who have known Tester said that they didn’t expect Tester to become a senator, but they admit they did see some signs of it.

 

Jon Tester seems a good choice for Senate.
