For thousands of years, the end of the world was predicted. Today, many religious groups are trying their best to quickly fulfill tasks given to them by God to bring the Rapture closer.

Mega-church pastors recently met in Inglewood to fulfill the Great Commission. They will use global communications and aircrafts to transport missionaries to make every person on Earth aware of Jesus’ message. They think that this will bring the end in about 2 decades. Apocalyptic movements are not new in the least. Even Christopher Columbus wanted to help fulfill the Great Commission by evangelizing the New World’s inhabitants. Some are going to lead campaigns, some prayers; they all amount to the same thing. Getting the end to come quicker.

Many though, including myself, don’t think you can hurry God’s plan. You can’t change the schedule. It’s just not in your hands.
