Ingrid lives in a safe small town, Echo Falls. At least that’s what she thinks. Echo Falls isn’t just as safe as Ingrid assumes. One day while running to soccer, she gets lost in the Flats, the oldest part of town. She runs into a lady most kids call Cracked-Up Katie. Cracked-Up Katie gives her some help and points her in the right direction, but to Ingrid Cracked-Up Katie looked afraid of something. The next day, she was murdered. Now it’s up to Ingrid to discover who committed the murder. And, she has soccer and she’s Alice in the town play. Ingrid must solve the murder that occurred in her safe little town, but she’s about to find out its not that safe.
This was a fascinating book. I could not put it down until I finished it. It’s the whole package! It has suspense, mystery, and even some comedy that keeps you reading this story. It even has a twist at the end that I did not even predict would happen. This is a fantastic book and I recommend it to anyone!
