Got a PG, Wants a G

The friendly religious film “Facing the Giants” received a PG rating. Many people are protesting and demanding that the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) change the rating.

Actually though, a spokesperson for the movie said they expected a PG rating, but they were told they got it for religious themes. Some people said that the MPAA is going far to cover up religion in films than they are to cover up violence.

But, some Christian groups actually think the rating is good. The PG rating might attract more teens because they say a G rating is like the kiss of death for teens.
