Praise and Prayers

Peace to you all !!
Praise the Lord that in the past quarter, ACC was able to sponsor the following programs with good turn out and positive results:
· There were 14 people participated in the Senior Chinese Painting class. Chinese coliagraphy class may follow soon.
· ACC workshop on 2/1 on the topic “Loving My Family” had a good turn out. Almost 200 people participated in this event.
· 61 people attended the first of the eight “Two Year Counseling Course”. Almost 80% of the students are from our church.
· Many from the Chinese New Immigrant Department prepared food for the Chinese New Year Eve celebration. The dinner was so delicious!!
· More than 30 people came to the “Single’s Night”. They made dumplings and enjoyed the fellowship with one another.
· Couple’s Group had their first meeting this quarter. 16 couples discussed the topic on “Saving and Withdrawing from your Emotion Account”.
· On March 5, several ACC members helped out at the stand in the Monterey Park Chinese New Year Festival. They provided the crowd with ACC tracks and bookmarks.

We are so happy to know that there has been more than 100,000 people surfing the ACC website. Most of the people are from California and from Beijing, China. We hope God can use this website as the tunnel to spread His love and the gospel.

“Chinese New Immigrant Caring Ministry”

“Chinese New Immigrant Caring Ministry” mainly serves the new immigrants from China. We hope to bring the grace of God to more immigrants as God bless this important ministry.

There are four departments within the ministry:
Evangelism Department
Department Head: Paul Ku

Elder Ku is one of the first members of FECSGV. He came with the original group from FEC Glendale. In the past decade, he has been faithfully serving in the church in various areas. Currently he is the member from Shiang-Yin Fellowship. His wife is Ann Ku. In the beginning of 2005, Elder Ku decided to take early retirement and started to volunteer at our church as elder and core member of ACC. He said that after retirement, he has taken over the kitchen department at home. He is now the “King” of the kitchen.
