AGAPE Letter

Once upon a time, a person with a PhD degree was assigned to a research center. He was the only person with a PhD degree working at the center.

One day he went fishing at a pond behind the research center. The director and the assistant-director were also fishing there sitting beside him.

He nodded his head to recognize their existence. He thought to him, “I really don’t think there is anything that I can speak about with these two college graduates?”

In a little while, the director dropped the fishing pole and stretched his arms. He walked across the water to use the bathroom on the other side of the pond. The doctor just about could not believe what he saw. His eyes popped out with surprise. “How could this be?” he thought to himself. “This is a pond!”

After a while, the director came back the same way across the water. The doctor is filled with questions. However, because he has a PhD, he wasn’t about to ask the director any questions.

After a couple of minutes, the assistant-director also stood up and walked across the pond to use the bathroom and came back the same way. The doctor almost fainted with surprises. He thought, “ I am in a place where there are many people with special magic power.”

This pond is surrounded with fence. It takes ten minutes to walk to the bathroom around the fence. It is also too far to go back to the research center.

The doctor didn’t want to ask the directors how they could walk across the pond. Finally, when he couldn’t hold anymore, he stood up and walked into the water. He said to him, “ I have a PhD degree. I don’t believe I won’t be able to walk across the water when these two with only college degrees could”. Just then, everyone heard a splash sound and the doctor was in the water.

The two directors pulled him out and asked him why did he walk into the water. He asked them whey they could do so.
