Due to its pleasant weather，#Yunnan Province's capital city Kunming is dubbed "Spring City". It seems much hard to find a snow mountain in this city. But Jiaozi Snow Mountain is an exception. It is situated in Wumeng Township, Luquan Yi and Miao Autonomous County，about 150 kilometers away from downtown Kunming. 4,247 meters high, Jiaozi Snow Mountain is the tallest peak inside the Kunming Municipality and the lowest latitude seasonal snow mountain in China. The reason why the mountain gets its name is that it looks like a sedan chair，or Jiaozi in Chinese.

Some people say the best time to visit Jiaozi Snow Mountain is from October to April since it is covered with pure white snow during this period. But the fact is that it is breathtaking in every season. For example，from April to June，if you visit the mountain，you might be fascinated by the colorful azalea flowers.
