Reports say that by the year 2020 Yunnan Province will realize a total of 20 civilian airports.

Currently, there are 15 civilian transport airports are put into operation in Yunnan Province. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Yunnan will focus on the construction of a "two networks and one hub".

By 2020, the province will put 20 civilian transport airports in total into use and strive to build 50 general airports of all kinds to form a long-term airport network.

This goal aims to further promote the regional economy development.
