The Asian Fortune Forum—2018 China Jianshui Purple Pottery World Art Competition was held in south Yunnan's Jianshui County from January 8 to 10.

The history of Jianshui purple pottery goes back hundreds of years. Today, it is considered to be one of the four famous types of Chinese pottery and plays an increasingly vital role in local development. 

At present, there are over 1,000 purple pottery production and sales enterprises as well as individual sellers registered in the Jianshui County with around 22,000 employees.
