The China-UK Institute of Innovative Quality Engineering and Smart Technology was located January 9 at the Business & Innovation Center for China-Europe Cooperation, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone.

The institute, covering a floor area of 3,343 square meters, was jointly established by a Chengdu-based company, and the UK's Brunel University and National Physical Laboratory. It offers solutions to the Industry 4.0-based innovative quality engineering and smart system.

Committed to be the world's cutting-edge center of its kind, the institute encompasses a R&D transfer center in the city, and an innovation center in London. It will serve as a bridge to promote communications between the Chinese and British governments and enterprises on talent, technology, product, capital and market.
