Authors¡G Go Chengdu

An exhibition showcasing ancient Maya arts will open on December 18 at the Jinsha Site Museum.

On display will be 214 artifacts from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which will give visitors a glimpse of the ancient Mayan concept of universe, religion, royalty, arts, society and life, etc. The exhibition will last from 18 December, 2018 to 17 March, 2019.

Eccentric Flint in Form of an Open Mouth

Belize, Guatemala, Honduras or Mexico, 600-900 AD

Tripod Plate with Supernatural Birds

Mexico, Campeche or Yucatán, 550-700 AD
