Yunnan to hold dinner parties in America for FGSF

Southwest China’s Yunnan province will hold two dinner parties in America in early May for the upcoming 2019 Fortune Global Sustainability Forum (FGSF).

The Yunnan dinner party in New York will take place on May 7 at Le Bernardin Privé, while the Yunnan dinner party in San Francisco will be held on May 9 at St. Regis Hotel. 

During the events, Alan Murray will make welcome remarks, Yunnan representatives will give remarks with a Yunnan video played. 

Hank Greenberg, chairman & CEO of C.V. Starr & Co., Inc, and Chip Bergh, president & CEO of Levi Strauss will be interviewed at the dinner parties. Felix Zhang, group executive director of Envision Energy and other speakers will join panel discussions. 

These activities will be moderated by Alan Murray and Jeffrey Ball, a scholar at Stanford University.

Around 300 businesses representatives have confirmed their attendance to the Yunnan dinner parties, including Danielle Azoulay, head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability of L'Oréal USA, Inc, and Gil Ahrens, head of Venure Capital and Emerging Growth Coverage of Wells Fargo Securities, LLC. 

The promotional dinner parties are held for the 2019 FGSF, which is scheduled to take place near the beautiful Fuxian Lake in central Yunnan Yuxi City from September 4 to 6. 

With the themed of “Money, Power and the Planet: Sustainability Gets Serious,” the 2019 forum will dissect key trends now converging to make sustainability core to business strategy.

Senior officials, business and NGO representatives, and academicians across the world will attend the FGSF, with their topics focusing on climate change, renewable energy, trade tensions, technological innovation, and more.

Currently, Yunnan is gearing up for the forthcoming FGSF, maintaining close contact with the American Fortune magazine in terms of security, transportation, volunteers, recreational activities and cultural program.
