It's time to enjoy an international table tennis in Chengdu.

On May 24, the three-day 2019 Belt and Road Chengdu International Table Tennis Open Finals kicked off in the city's Qingbaijiang District.

Jointly hosted by the China Table Tennis Association, Chengdu Municipal People's Government and Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Sports, the event this year presents competitions among 17 men's teams in the special category and 40 mixed teams in the open category. About 300 ping-pong players and coaches from 23 countries and regions, including Werner Schlager from Austria, Joo Se-Hyuk from the ROK, Lucjan Blaszczyk from Poland, as well as Chinese players Zhang Chao, Hao Shuai and Xu Ruifeng, will vie for championships at the finals.
