The 4th Qingdao Dragon Boat Race and the 4th Qingdao College Students Dragon Boat Race was held on June 7 in Qingdao High-tech Zone. More than 400 contestants of 20 teams from local enterprises, public institutions, social organizations, colleges and universities competed in the game to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival-Duanwu Festival.

According to the organizing committee of the event, the dragon boat competition this year includes open class 22-people dragon boat race, open class 12-people dragon boat race and 12-people university men's race. In the end, after fierce competition, delegation of Hetao Street won the first prize of the open class 22-people dragon boat race and Navy Submarine Academy delegation won the first prize of the 12-people university men's race.

In addition, interactive activities were also held to enrich citizens' experience. Based on the water quality and landscape of the intelligent island water system in high-tech zone, and taking audience's experience into full consideration, the organizing committee set up competition areas and audience areas, aiming to provide a fair and safe competition environment for the players, and at the same time to allow the audiences to have a more excellent watching experience.
