Ethnic pupils enjoy multi-cultural education in Dehong

The Yingpan Minzu Primary School is a bilingual school founded in 1958 that teaches in both in mandarin and the minority language of Jingpo.

Located in Xishan, Mangshi city, the Dehong autonomous county of Dai and Jingpo minorities in western Yunnan province, it contains 314 Jingpo students out of 364 ones enrolled in total.

The school has created a multi-ethnic atmosphere in which students with different cultural and ethnic backgrounds can live and study together in harmony.
