The 2019 Chengdu Marathon will take place on October 27 (Sunday) in the city.

Here is basic information on the event.

Races

Marathon (42.195km), Half Marathon (21.0975km), Fun Run (6km)

Wheelchair Race (42.195km). The rules and regulations for Wheelchair Race will be announced separately later.

Race Course

Marathon: East Gate of Jinsha Site Museum (Start) →Jinniu District→Qingyang District→Jinjiang District→Wuhou District→Hi-Tech Zone→Tianfu New Area→Century City International Convention & Exhibition Center (Finish)

Registration

Race capacity: 30,000 entries.

For Marathon, the capacity is 15000, for Half Marathon 10000, and for Fun Run 5000. If any of the number of applicants exceeds the specified capacity, the eligibility of the participants will be determined by random draw.

Registration and payment shall be completed on the 2019 Chengdu Marathon official website before the deadline. Upon successful payment, all participants are eligible for the draw. Unsuccessful applicants will be refunded after successful ones are announced.

Registration Fee

Chinese applicant: (including those living in Hong Kong and Macao SARs and Taiwan Province): (for Marathon) 180RMB/per person, (for Half Marathon) 150RMB/per person, (for Fun Run) 100RMB/per person

Foreign applicant: (for Marathon) USD$60/per person, (for Half Marathon) USD$50/per person, (for Fun Run) USD$30/per person
