Qingdao High-tech Zone hold a promotional event in Shenzhen on August 9. Shang Liqun, director of the management committee of Qingdao High-tech Zone, and Zhang Yongguo, deputy secretary-general of Qingdao attended the event. A total of over 300 people were present.

With the theme of "benchmarking Shenzhen, building dream in Qingdao High-tech Zone", the event offers an opportunity for the zone to showcase its investment environment and seek for win-win cooperation, which is of great significance for Qingdao High-tech Zone to expand opening up and boost leap-forward development.

At the signing ceremony, 16 emerging industrial projects and investment institutions signed agreements to settle in Qingdao High-tech Zone, with an investment of about 10 billion yuan. The projects cover fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, new-generation information technology, biomedicine, Internet, artificial intelligence manufacturing, high-end service, science and finance, smart city, and education.

The cooperation between Qingdao High-tech Zone and Shenzhen has entered the fast lane. The projects, having been launched or reached cooperation intention, will surely inject impetus into the high-quality development of the zone.

Qingdao High-tech Zone will spare no efforts in building a more efficient business environment, more sound policy system and more complete urban supporting facilities.

At the event, Qingdao High-tech Zone introduced its regional advantages, innovation capacity, business environment, development potential and the new achievements and highlights of economic development in recent years.
