2019 Maker in China (Qingdao Division) and the preliminary contest of 5th Mayor’s Cup Huatong Capital Entrepreneurship Competition kicked off in Qingdao High-tech Zone on August 16. More than 100 people from Qingdao Municipal Private Economic Development Bureau, the Management Committee of Qingdao High-tech Zone, Huatong Group, Lanebest, and other industrial alliances and enterprises.

The contest contains 30 competition events, mainly involving new material, Internet Plus, intelligent manufacturing, and so on, which show the new products, technologies, patterns and forms of business at the present times. After a day of fierce competition, six projects including Qingdao Re-store Biotechnology Co., Ltd. stood out in the preliminary contest and qualified for the Mayor’s Cup competition.

It aims to explore a number of new small and micro enterprises and innovative projects to create a coordinated and resonant development pace. As the 11th divisions, Qingdao High-tech Zone has been actively promoting the contest since it was launched in May. Good expected results have been achieved in the promoting activities which received high praise from the trained enterprises.

In recent years, Qingdao High-tech Zone has attached great importance to the introduction and cultivation of innovative start-ups, organized more than 100 high-quality entrepreneurship and innovation activities, and served more than 100 makers, laying an important foundation for projects of Qingdao High-tech Zone to achieve good results in various competitions.

Next, Qingdao High-tech Zone will focus on promoting the innovative development of enterprises, further create top-ranking business environment, formulate better quality service policies, build efficient entrepreneurial platform, and provide intimate service assurance to contribute to the construction of Qingdao High-tech Zone.
