A myriad of coreopsis flowers, also known as tickseeds, blossomed recently in the Black Stone Forest (Naigu Shilin) Scenic Area in Shilin county, Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province. 

White and pink tickseed clusters have lured thousands of tourists to visit the scenic area since last weekend. 

Naigu Shilin sits at the core area of the Yunnan Stone Forest Geological Park. Featuring giant black limestones erected on karst landscape, it was identified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as early as 2007.
