The 19th China (Qingdao) Blue Economy International Professionals and Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Conference was held on Nov. 6, 2019 in Qingdao, east China’s Shandong Province. A group of overseas high-level talents are expected to be introduced to Qingdao to enrich the supply of international high-end innovative talents.

The conference, with the theme of “pooling global wisdom to boost Qingdao’s development”, attracted 113 overseas high-caliber talents and 80 high-grade, precision and advanced major projects, with a total investment of 540 million yuan, concerning modern marine industry, intelligent manufacturing, new-generation information technology, rail transit and other industries.

In the past five years, the conference has attracted more than 3,500 overseas talents to sign up for the conference, directly attracted more than 800 high-caliber talents to stay in Qingdao, and indirectly introduced more than 1,000 high-caliber talents.
