The 2020 Yunnan drill on responding to forest and grassland fires was recently held recently in central Yunnan𠏋 Anning City, in a bid to enhance the joint capabilities by local firefighting forces. This fire drill includes emergency-response plans, deployment of firefighting forces, and other joint rescue efforts. Extinguishers, pumps, excavators, and helicopters were used in the drill.
The drill was jointly carried out by Yunnan authorities on emergency management, forestry and grassland, forest firefighting, and aviation rescue.
More than 800 professional fire fighters, together with 260 officers, 120 vehicles and 2 helicopters, took part in the drill.
