Enterprises in Qingdao High-tech Zone have taken effective measures to fight against the epidemic and at the same time they contributed their strength to support Wuhan. The three million yuan of immune-enhancing products were sent to Wuhan on Feb. 14, which were donated by Qingdao biomedical research and development base of Lumin Pharmaceuticals Company.

"We tried to get in touch with Wuhan, and finally contacted with Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology." said Yu Lumin, president of Lumin Pharmaceuticals Company, "We decided to donate a batch of medical materials and products as soon as we resume work."

As early as the outbreak began, Yu Lumin had been concerned about the epidemic in Wuhan. When he learned about that Wuhan was short of medical materials, Yu Lumin contacted with hospitals in the Blue Biomedical Industrial Park and Wuhan, hoping to make a donation.

The Blue Biomedical Industrial Park coordinated with the office of epidemic prevention and control of Qingdao High-tech Zone and relevant investment attraction departments to help Lumin Pharmaceuticals Company solve the problem of material transportation.

Many medical and pharmaceutical enterprises made donations to Wuhan, hoping to help Wuhan fight against the epidemic with their technology, products and materials. Heads of these enterprises believed that as a medical and pharmaceutical company, it is their responsibility to work with all sectors of society to win the battle against the novel coronavirus.
