A dozen staff members are busy in packing masks and protective clothing at a factory in Qingdao High-tech Zone on the evening of March 27. The boxes were piled up into a hill. "We bring you peace and healthy from Qingdao, China" reads a sticker on the outside of the boxes in Hebrew, English and Chinese.

These epidemic control and prevention materials will be transported to Israel in a few days. More materials will be delivered to enhance the close relationship between China and Israel.

Qingdao High-tech Zone pays close attention to the latest situation of COVID-19 in Israel, makes great efforts to find the sources of epidemic prevention materials so as to provide support to Israel. The operation team of Sino-Israel (Qingdao) International Living Hall acted quickly, contacted with departments and enterprises to collect epidemic prevention and control materials. Finally, supplies including masks, protective clothing and effervescent disinfection tablets were purchased and collected, which will be shipped from Qingdao to Tel Aviv via Shanghai.

The COVID-19 situation is even worse in Europe. Qingdao High-tech Zone has close exchanges with Europe. In 2015, the Northern Center of the EU Project Innovation Hub was settled down in Qingdao High-tech Zone. Subsequently, regions and agencies such as Sicily of Italy and Mont pellier of France set up centers in Qingdao.

With the help of EU Project Innovation Hub, Qingdao High-tech Zone has successfully donated epidemic prevention materials to Italy, Germany, Britain, France and Belgium.
