When autumn comes, Kunming turns into a beauty of colorful leaves

After mid-autumn every year, the once-in-a-year scenery is coming in Kunming. Leaves of ginkgo trees, maple trees and other deciduous trees change their colors and present their most beautiful and attractive views. Today we introduce you some of the best photography destinations of falling leaves in Kunming.

Yinxing Road in Yunnan University
Yinxing literally means “ginkgo”. So the Yinxing Road can be also called ginkgo tree road. Lined with towering ginkgo tress, the road is about 200 meters long. Every weekend after mid-October, the road is crowded with visitors and photographers. If you are lucky, you will encounter squirrels who climb and forage from trees to trees. Some of the bravest even dare to take food from palms of visitors.

Kunming Botanical Garden
In the botanical garden which is 12 kilometers away from the downtown Kunming, you can enjoy both the yellow ginkgo leaves and the red maple leaves. There is a local saying that God intentionally loses his pallette in the garden when autumn comes, turning the garden into a mixture of colors.

Daguan Park

Located by the Dianchi Lake which covers an area of 250 square kilometers, the Daguan Park is famous in history. When autumn comes, a visit to the park will be worthwhile because the ginkgo leaves turn yellow and the chrysanthemum is blooming.
