The First Seminar for Media Officials and Journalists from Mekong Countries held by Yunnan Daily Press Group opens in Kunming on June 12.

The training seminar sees a participation of 17 media officials and journalists from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

It is the first time for Yunnan to host a training seminar for media delegates from all the six countries. The seminar will set up a good platform to conduct in-depth media exchanges among the six countries.

participants will take the high-speed trains, visit the border areas, exchange widely in Kunming and Lincang, and witness the 5th China-South Asia Exposition and the 25th China Kunming Import & Export Fair.
