So far, China has basically brought the Covid-19 under control. In Kunming, blossoms are here and there, and businesses are trying to regain the momentum. However, our neighbor countries are still fighting hard against the epidemic.

We, reporters at Yunnan Gateway, just interviewed several international students in Yunnan, who shared their tips in fighting the Covid-19 virus.

Guo Xian from Thailand

Hello! My Chinese name is Guo Xian and I`m from Khon Kaen, Thailand. Today I’d like to say something about my living with the Covid-19 in the past months.

It was January, when I was in Hangzhou, east China. I wasn’t sure when it began, but all passers-by wore masks. Back then, I didn't see the epidemic severity.

On my way back to Thailand, I found everyone at the Chinese airport was wearing a mask or protective cloth. They kept the 1-meter distance from each other while queuing.

Landing in Thailand, I was picked up by family members whom I had reminded of wearing masks.

In face of the new virus, we should first care about ourselves, which is also good for our families and friends. Then, wear a mask and wash hands often. Last but not least, stay at home and avoid socializing as much as possible.
