Warren: Technology Definitely Helps In Churches
1/15/2006

Christians grew up with church in their life. They had hymn books and bibles they read. At her church now they hardly use bibles and hymn books anymore. They have technology now.

Now in most churches, the words are always up there in big print, people in the very back can watch a baby being baptized on the screens. Protestant Churches are using technology approaches to make worship appeal to younger members. Many older members enjoy technology too though. Rev. Mark Feldmeir of United Methodists church tries to use clips from major movies to make metaphors. From “O Brother Where Art Thou” he showed a clip of a baptizing scene from the movie to offer a picture of John baptizing Jesus.

The churches put screens to make it easier for the people in the back and so there’s less work for everyone. Technology definitely helps in churches.
