The 12th Guangdong Provincial Party Congress will be held from May 22 to 26 in Guangzhou, during which a work report of the CPC Provincial Committee will be delivered.

Hu Chunhua, Party Chief of Guangdong, said following President Xi’s latest instructions on Guangdong, the work report will summarize the province’s performance in the past 5 years and unveil the blue print for future development.

Besides, deputies are expected to elect new senior officials for five-year terms on both the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, the Provincial Committee for CPC Discipline Inspection, as well as delegates to the 19th CPC national Congress later this year.
