Microsoft (China) incubation base settled in Qingdao

The Qingdao National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone and Microsoft China signed a Strategic Cooperation MOU recently, planning to jointly establish Microsoft (China) incubation base project.

As a wholly-owned company of Microsoft, Microsoft China has its largest R&D center outside the US, which has strong R&D capability and fruitful achievements. Microsoft China also has large partner eco system in China and the world. Microsoft China and Qingdao National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone reached strategic cooperation and plan to jointly establish Microsoft China incubation base project which is helpful in building whole-eco innovation system, integrates R&D, design, project incubation, talent cultivation, market application into one in areas like start-up incubation, big data research and AI application for excellent industry aggregation effect.

Qingdao National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone will authorize operation partner certified by Microsoft as the undertaker to build and operate Microsoft Cloud & Mobile Technology Incubation Plan – Qingdao Information Technologies Incubation Base, which aims to encourage incubated start-ups to conduct new generation IT application development in cloud platform that combines incubation service of operation partners and Microsoft Azure and Office 365 public cloud service based on Microsoft’s technologies. Meanwhile, Microsoft is going to access to its worldwide innovation resources and eco system for qualified companies in the zone. Qualified companies can also join Microsoft BizPark (Microsoft start-up supporting plan) project, which can quicken the pace of internationalization of tech companies in the zone. Besides all these, college students in the zone can join Microsoft Imagine project that supports campus innovation and entrepreneurship.
