HANGZHOU, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Marcus Edward Denmon scored a career-high 54 points to help Zhejiang Golden Bulls to a 123-118 victory over Qingdao Eagles in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Thursday.

A layup by Jiao Hailong of Qingdao cut the lead but the hosts still led 32-28 in the first quarter. The away team stormed to a 11-6 run, with eight points from Darius Adams, to level things up 58-58 at the half.

The game was close in the third quarter, though Qingdao used a 7-0 run after Denmon made a layup for the hosts to make it 93-87 into the fourth quarter.
