On January 8, the Management Committee of Qingdao High-tech Zone and Qingdao Zhongguancun Information Valley Innovation Center jointly held an industrial exchange meeting. Li Hongyan, director of the Management Committee of Qingdao High-tech Zone, Wang Zhen, vice director of the Management Committee, Yao Shengli, vice general director of Zhongguancun Development Group， and Shi Qilin, general director of ZGC Information Valley Co. Ltd. attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Li Hongyan delivered a speech. He introduced the advantages of Qingdao High-tech Zone from the aspects of location, industry, mechanism and environment, and praised Zhongguancun for its achievements as China's first state-level high-tech zone. Li Hongyan said that Qingdao is a city full of innovation, entrepreneurship and growth potential. Qingdao High-tech Zone has always taken innovation as the first driving force of development. Now, Qingdao High-tech Zone has become the city’s gathering place of high-tech industries, source of technological innovation, and a leading destination of investment.

Shi Qilin also delivered a speech at the meeting. He said that Zhongguancun Information Valley Company will continue to carry out its task of regional cooperation, conduct business mainly based on scientific and technological industry organization and service, promote the innovation and upgrade of Qingdao Zhongguancun Information Valley, and build a new platform of international cooperation based on "Belt & Road" Initiative.

More than 300 related enterprises invovled in fields including artificial intelligence, big data and new-generation information technology were invited to the meeting, which will build a bridge between enterprises and the government and provide a platform for enterprises to better understand the business environment and industrial policies of Qingdao High-tech Zone.
