On February 10, Qingdao High-tech Zone held the fifth plenary meeting of the novel coronavirus pneumonia prevention and control headquarters. Li Hongyan, director of the management committee of Qingdao High-tech Zone, also command in chief of novel coronavirus pneumonia prevention and control headquarters presided over the meeting.

Li Hongyan pointed out that, in face of complicated severe epidemic situation, all departments and units should resolutely implement the relevant requirements of the central, provincial and municipal government on epidemic prevention and control work, give top priority to the safety and health of the people, keep a cool head, and further implement the prevention and control measures. He also called on all members of the headquarters to fully understand their functions and responsibilities in the prevention and control of the epidemic, earnestly perform their duties, start from their own, take a highly responsible attitude toward the Party and the people, and make more efforts to do a good job in the prevention and control of the epidemic.

The meeting stressed that overall plans should be made for economic and social development. The whole zone will balance efforts to control the novel coronavirus epidemic and resume work in a scientific way.
