On May 25, Wang Bo, secretary of Chengyang district and Li Hongyan, director of the management committee of Qingdao High-tech Zone conducted an investigation of the construction of key projects in the zone.

They first visited the construction sites of Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center and Hongdao High-speed Railway Station, examined the progress of the projects and supporting facilities, learned about the design and planning of the projects in detail, listened to the report of the projects made by people in charge, and coordinated and solved on site some of the difficulties and problems emerged in the process of construction.

Wang Bo stressed the construction of key projects is crucial to social and economic development of Qingdao High-tech Zone. Departments at all levels should insist on scientific planning and precise policies to make overall planning and coordination, and make solution to problems so as to create a favorable environment for project construction. At the same time, special attention should be paid to the quality of projects and safe production.

Li Hongyan said departments of Qingdao High-tech Zone will step up efforts to ensure the smooth construction of these key projects.
