To further consolidate the practical achievements of "learning from and surpassing Shenzhen", broaden the field of cooperation and introduce new growth drivers, recently, a team led by Li Hongyan, director of the management committee of Qingdao High-tech Zone carried out research and investment promotion activities in Shenzhen.

Over one and a half days, the team visited enterprises including ZTE, Tencent, Huawei and Shekou Industrial Park of Zhaoshang Bureau, and had an in-depth discussion with them on project cooperation. The team also visited some of the projects to be introduced and promoted Qingdao High-tech Zone in location, transportation, policy and industries.

During the visit, Li Hongyan said that Qingdao is embracing the period of multiple national strategic opportunities. Qingdao High-tech Zone, a key central urban area and a highland for innovation and entrepreneurship to be fostered on the north shore of Jiaozhou Bay, has been approved as Shandong Peninsula National Demonstration Park of Independent Innovation and national demonstration base of innovation and entrepreneurship. The "3+1" leading industrial cluster of new generation information technology, medical treatment and pharmaceutical, AI+ high-end equipment manufacturing, and modern service industry has been initially formed. A number of its indicators are among the top of industrial parks of Qingdao and Shandong Peninsula.

For Shenzhen-based projects that have been settled in Qingdao High-tech Zone, Li Hongyan hoped they would accelerate the progress of projects under construction, step up to introduce quality enterprises in line with the direction of industrial development, further expand the field of cooperation, so as to foster a national level industrial demonstration park and a benchmark for government-enterprise cooperation.

People in charge of Shenzhen-based projects said they will strengthen and deepen cooperation with Qingdao High-tech Zone, introduce more science and technology enterprise clusters to Qingdao, and make contributions to the practical cooperation of industries between Shenzhen and Qingdao.
