This 3.6 hectares (8.9 acres) of magnificent waterfront is considered the largest sandy beach in Asia. The Qingdao Number One Bathing Beach or Huiquan Bathing Beach can rival beaches on Samet Island in Thailand, Hawaii, or Bali. The well-equipped beach has chalets in various colors and shapes, restaurants, ballrooms, bars, and cafe. It is divided into a swimming and non-swimming zone and offers more than 900 showers for guests. July, August and September are the best months to visit.
