Qingdao High-tech Zone makes online connection with Sophia Antipolis

On June 29, Qingdao High-tech Zone, together with EU Project Innovation Center (EUPIC) held online communication meeting with Sophia Antipolis. Philippe Mariani, CEO of Sophia Antipolis, Dai Yiting, EUPIC Director, and Dong Dekun, deputy director of the Management Committee of Qingdao High-tech Zone participated in the meeting.

Dong Dekun said that the development history and industrial form of Sophia Antipolis have something in common with Qingdao High-tech Zone. He hoped that both sides could strengthen exchanges in industrial projects, science and technology parks, industrial alliances and other aspects to share wisdom and advance hand in hand. Philippe Mariani said he would make full use of his experience and resource channels to share development with Qingdao High-tech Zone. Dei Yiling said that this online connection represents the beginning of bilateral cooperation, and the EU Project Innovation Center will play an active role as a platform to follow up resources and promote cooperation.

Sophia Antipolis is a technology park in France. Much of the park falls within the commune of Valbonne, which lies northwest of Antibes and southwest of Nice, France. It is the first science and technology park in Europe, the largest science and technology park in Europe and the core of the most important technology hub. Covering an area of more than 2,300 hectares, the park has attracted more than 2,000 enterprises and 30,000 researchers from more than 60 countries and regions.
