The five-day 2020 Asia-Pacific International Intelligent Equipment Exposition (APIE) was held at Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was jointly sponsored by the Machinery Sub-council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shandong Automation Society and Qingdao High-tech Zone.

With an exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, the expo sets up 8 theme sections including industrial Internet, automation, robot, plastics industry, packaging industry, smart storage logistics, power transmission and smart city focusing on the display of new products, technologies and cooperation demands of overseas multinational enterprises, renowned domestic enterprises, and industrial leading enterprises.

Qingdao High-tech Zone organized 13 intelligent manufacturing enterprises to participate in the expo, which showcases the image of intelligent manufacturing enterprises in the zone, publicizes the favorable investment environment and expands the channel of investment attraction.

APIE, with intelligent manufacturing as the core and based on the economic systems of China, Japan and South Korea, radiates more than 20 countries and regions and is committed to providing a full solution for global intelligent equipment.

More than one hundred enterprises from home and abroad specialized in the fields of machinery parts, auto manufacturing, new energy and home appliance, took part in the event.
