The 2020 Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion and Development Forum was held recently in Qingdao High-tech Zone, aiming to further promote the cultivation of high-end intelligent manufacturing talents, effectively promote the high-quality development of intelligent manufacturing in China and enhance the level of enterprises' intelligent manufacturing.

The forum was jointly sponsored by China Industry and Control Society and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province.

Guests and experts of national intelligent manufacturing standardization were invited and made speeches on characteristics of intelligent manufacturing development under the new situation, industrial Internet and the digital transformation of manufacturing, production and practice of the intelligent manufacturing of user-end electrical appliances. By analyzing the features of intelligent manufacturing development, attendees had in-depth discussions on the implementation methods of intelligent manufacturing, learned about the practical application of intelligent manufacturing through enterprise research, so as to promote the popularization and application of intelligent manufacturing across the province.

In recent years, leading smart manufacturing enterprises like Baojia Group have gradually taken shape in Qingdao High-tech Zone. As the first domestic robot high-tech industrialization base approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Qingdao High-tech Zone boosts natural advantages in the development of AI+ high-end equipment manufacturing.

Taking Shenzhen High-tech Zone and Shanghai Pudong New Area as the benchmark, Qingdao High-tech Zone mapped out and implemented the Action Plan for "Artificial Intelligence + Advanced Manufacturing" and accelerated the transformation from manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing.

In terms of industrial development, the leading role of enterprises is given priority in the selection of technological routes and industrial product standards in order to gather innovation resources, support leading enterprises strengthening cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises upstream and downstream, and increase the dynamic of economic development.

Qingdao High-tech Zone will continue to strengthen the attraction of investment and talent, constantly expand the industrial chain, inject new energy to the industry of AI+ High-end equipment manufacturing, and foster a new high-land of industrial clusters.
