A team led by Sun Jianhua, chairman of Zhejiang chamber of commerce in Qingdao visited Qingdao High-tech Zone on August 18, accompanied by Wang Zheng, deputy director of the management committee of the zone. Huang Diyong, also deputy director of the management committee of the zone held a discussion with the team.

The team conducted an on-the-spot investigation at Hongdao Railway Station, Qingdao Citizen Fitness Center, and the zone's main control center of integrated pipe gallery, and listened to detailed introductions about relevant projects.

Huang Diyong welcomed the team at the meeting. The investment attraction department introduced the overall planning of the zone and the development of related industries. Huang Diyong said that with distinct geographical advantages and strong industrial foundation, Qingdao High-tech Zone is seizing the opportunity of functional zone reform and making great efforts in its main business. Economic indicators of the zone rose against the trend in the first half of the year, fully demonstrating the vitality of regional economic development. He hoped that the chamber would continue to pay close attention to Qingdao High-tech Zone and promote the zone, give full play to its role as a bridge, encourage more of its member enterprises to invest and start business in the zone so as to seek mutual development.

Sun Jianhua expressed his gratitude for the zone's constant concern to the chamber as well as its support and help for private enterprises. He said that the chamber would take this visit as a chance to promote more quality projects to settle in Qingdao High-tech Zone by giving full play to the role of the digital platform of the chamber.
