The 2020 5G Intelligent Audio-visual Conference (GIAC) was held in Qingdao International Convention Center in Qingdao, east China’s Shandong province on Nov. 27. Centering on the theme of Value-leading and Healthy Ecology, the participants had a discussion on the new trend of the development of live-streaming economy, to lead the upgrading of domestic live-streaming industry and contribute strength to the healthy development of live-streaming economy.

Li Mingkuan, director of the Investment Department of Qingdao High-tech Zone, said in his speech that he hoped everyone could take advantage of this face-to-face opportunity to jointly discuss the hot spots of industry development, share significant opportunities and changes, and constantly boost the innovative development of digital economy including live-streaming economy. Qingdao High-tech Zone will also take advantage of the trend to strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure, further fit into the development tide of digital economy, and create a more comfortable, heartwarming and reassuring development environment for digital economy.

A number of keynote speeches and roundtable forums have also been held. Focusing on technical support, industrial practice and other aspects, and combining with their own practical experience, guests comprehensively discussed the development prospects and breakthroughs of live-streaming economy, and made suggestions and opinions on the healthy development of live-streaming economy.

Since the beginning of this year, the live-streaming economy represented by live commerce has risen rapidly and become one of the fastest growing industrial application scenes in the intelligent audiovisual field. Moreover, the annual sales volume of over one trillion yuan of live-streaming economy has excited both inside and outside the industry.

With the rapid development of live-streaming economy, it is also faced with many problems in the techniques, contents, regulation and other aspects. How to build a value-led, healthy and ecological live stream economy has become the common focus of this forum.
