On January 5, Xu Shaoshi, chairman of The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress and his delegation visited Qingdao High-tech Zone and investigated key projects. Liu Xinhua, vice chairman of the Committee, participated in the investigation.

The investigation was accompanied by Li Tongdao, member of the Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial People's Congress, Zhang Xijun, vice chairman of Qingdao Municipal People’s Congress, and Li Hongyan, director of the Management Committee of Qingdao High-tech Zone.

At the industrialization project of Haier Biomedical in Qingdao High-tech Zone, Zhang Ruimin, board chairman and CEO of Haier Group, together with relevant persons in charge of the project, expounded to the investigation group the project’s technological innovation, overall operation, and product development and marketing.

Xu Shaoshi fully affirmed the achievements of the project in the field of biomedicine and scientific and technological innovation, and expressed ardent expectations for the future development of the company.
