A signature town named "A Tour A Life", which is designed to promote the integrated development of the cultural and tourism industries, opened to the public on Sept 24 in Qingdao, Shandong province.

Located in the picturesque Cangma Mountain scenic area in Qingdao West Coast New Area, the town has been developed by Sunac China Holdings for more than three years.

The project integrates rural culture, ecological protection, vacation and recreation services, as well as film and television making. At present, facilities like an ecological farm, a tea garden, a film and television base, as well as commercial blocks in the town have opened. More facilities, such as hotels, hot springs, hotels, and homestays, will open soon.

The project has provided nearly 1,200 jobs and more than 300 business platforms for local villagers, employing more than 300 seasonal workers and increasing their annual per capita income by more than 30,000 yuan ($4,641).

According to Sunac China Holdings, in the next three to five years, the town will welcome 4.5 million tourists per year through brand promotion, generating annual tourism income of 1.5 billion yuan and tax revenue of 100 million yuan.
