Recently, the annual Chengdu Scientific and Technological Activity Week officially launched at JingRong Start-up Hub, High-tech Zone.
On that day, well-prepared science popularization instructors from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding put on not only a lecture, but a show along with experiential activities, titled The Amazing Giant Panda—Exploring the Secrets of the National Treasure That You Don’t Know to the audience.
The lecture covered exciting information about giant pandas on all manner of topics and expanded to related plants & animals and habitat protection. There was a brainstorming Q&A, interesting behavior modeling “True or False Thumb”, even lifelike models of giant panda cubs for people to touch, and the interactive game “Giant Panda & Partner Squat”, which brought the crowd into a frenzy of excitement.
Friends, both big and small, were learning while playing, and they were excited to learn more. They all said that they would visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to explore the secrets of giant pandas, China’s national treasure, learning to protect the giant panda!
